To celebrate the the 13th anniversary of Command & Conquer, EA has decided to release Red Alert as freeware.

Red Alert 2, can also be obtained free of charge, as well as other goodies for those of you who pre-order Red Alert 3 from participating retailers.

Also last year, to celebrate the 12th anniversary Command & Conquer Gold was released and is still available for those who haven't downloaded it.

Yeah, I noticed that. I usually don't check the PC news section, so I was unaware of it's posting. It includes free gold edition, so I suppose this thread isn't entriely redundant.
