Sounds, Music, commands, and sound chat?
Ok, now I saw lots of videos on youtube about Battlefield 2. And sometimes the and sounds like.... It sounds like your really in game but they have: "Enemy infantry spotted", "Artillary your area!" "Request a barrage"and that chatting sound stuff. How can I get that? Like download it or find a file from my BF2 directory?:|:

I think it's in the objects_client folder, or one of the other .zip files. Search around and you can find gun sounds, vehicle sounds, infantry voices, etc. - just make sure you don't screw with any of them or it will think you modified your files. -

Well, their not audio files.
I go here: D:/EA Games/Battlefield 2/mods/bf2/common_client/sound/English/commander/COMMSL_ARTILLERY_artillerylaunch.ogg and then I click on one of the files and they pop up: "WINDOWS: The file:COMMSL_ARTILLERY_artillerylaunch.ogg cannot open. Please select a program to open the file." But the files are either: Note Pad, or .ogg files. How can I make the files audio? Or can you guys tell me a link to download the commands or chat sounds in audio for Battlefield 2? Cause I wanna make a video with the comander sound "Artillary, your area!" and all that:|:

Download an .ogg codec, and you'll be able to open them in Windows Media Player.

Ok, awesome! I can hear the sounds but I also meant im also using them in a movie. Like im going to import them in Movie Maker..... I already tried putting the file name as: .mp3 but in WMP it won't play! I tried uploading them to Movie Maker with the file names as: .ogg and .mp3 but the mp3 one will load but not play in Movie Maker!:cry: WHAT CAN I DO?

Find a free .ogg -> .mp3 converter. There's plenty of them if you search around.Comment

@Downloading an .ogg codec, you might as well save yourself some time and download VLC media player. It plays a lot of files (including .ogg's) that WMP can't, so it's well worth the 5mb or so it takes up.
As for converting it... just use a different editor
However, if you reaaally want to stick with WMM you can just do what Wizrd said - but make sure you make backups of the original .ogg so incase you do something wrong (accidentally replace the .ogg, I've done it before) you can fix your game w/o needing to reinstall.Comment
