I was just on the EA ftp and spotted 1.512 in the patch section. Last modified August 2008!

They've already broke Battlefield enough, just leave the poor beast in peace. I cant Imagine why it would take months to mirror the patch for macs, then again, I know nothing about them accept that they have a different file system.

^^ jee i hope they bring back movable titans after shields go down. do you guys remember how fun that used to be? trying to revive a teammate that slips away from you eventually through the walls and off the titan. those were the good old days.

please tell me that's sarcasm at its best:laugh: damn, did that piss me off. i hope MORE than anything that they fix the lighting in the next patch. the lighting and shadows are all jacked up. perfect example...sit on flag @ command center on operation shingle. if anyone is above you, a shadow will be THROUGH THE WALLS MADE OF CEMENT right on to the ground you stand on. arrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggghhhhhhhh:cry: and try cloaking BEHIND smoke. it actually makes your silhouette stand out...MORONS

of all the things wrong with this game, you choose lighting? wth is wrong with you man?!?! :laugh:

this game needs more stability both on server and client side as well as fixing all the grief that punkbuster causes (this game and bf2). those issues are 90% of my gripes with this game. the other 10%, i have given up on and don't expect them to fix it anyways (eg. EU transport shooting blanks bug, custom kit save not working, auto switching to support/eng. kit in the middle of round, etc....) :argh:

what's wrong w/ me? how much time do you have?:laugh::laugh::laugh: it was just the first thing to come to mind. i stopped there, cuz i would just gone on ranting so long that 90% of the viewers probably wounldn't have read the entire post besides, i didn't feel getting myself all worked up about it. It took me a while to figure out why I kept getting killed every time I cloaked through smoke. It actually makes you more visible. I feel your pain moose.

As long as they are a little more 'polished' than the last offerings we got.

But you've got a better chance of getting struck twice by lightning than EA/DICE releasing anything further for 2142.

All the resources are channeled into BF3 and to a lesser extent, Heros.
