I recently loaded up CoD4 because of a reformat, and forgot to patch when I went into MP. I couldn't help but notice how many people are still playing 1.0!

There have got to be thousands of them...

When I first started playing BF2, which was my first online multiplayer game, I played unpatched for at least a couple of months before I downloaded the patches.

I still go back now and again, when I reinstall. Good times.
