So as the title says, there might be new maps coming to BF:BC.

Cast your vote on one out of the six single player levels that you liked the most, and you might be able to play it online in Conquest mode in the near future. The top two maps chosen by our community will be included in the upcoming map pack, along with two additional maps that DICE chose. So vote for your favourite map now, and cross your fingers that everyone else will be voting for your favourite map as well. Press the button below to open up the poll. I personally voted for the 'Par for the Course' map(it seems that i wasn't the only one). Just because there is a chance that we finally get to see those Golf carts online...

I just hope that DICE would fix all the bugs(mics for example) before they will release new maps(or include them in to the same release)..

Par for the Course baby!

I think it's a bit of a silly poll though. It says after the top two maps voted for by the public, DICE will chose the next two for a 4 map, map pack. That's 4 out of the 6. Should of voted for the map you'd least like to see maybe.

I just hope they keep the maps large, like there were in single player. I really don't like these small, basically infantry only style maps.

I would love to have that linear map at the very end of the game when you are running between the trains.

DICE please, leave the God Damn remakes out of BC. Haven't we already seen enough of Karkand or Wake... Just let them have their rest now with the old engine. And take the most out of the new one...

Just create some complete new ones. Maybe a night time city map, with tracer rounds flying everywhere.

I really didn't know what map to vote and cause I knew everybody would vote Par For The Course I decided to pick one at random and that was Crossing Over.

I tought that i'll post some (old?!)news..

The voting on the new maps has ended, and here's the results.

Acta Non Verba - 15%
Crossing Over - 12%
Par for the Course - 38%
Ghost Town - 12%
Welcome to Bad Company - 10%
Crash and Grab - 9%

As you can see, 'Par for the Course' and 'Acta Non Verba' won the vote.

We’d like to update everyone on what is happening with Bad Company and its continued future.

As you all know, we have announced a new map pack in the works based on votes from the community - golf carts anyone? The voting closed last Tuesday and work began immediately on the new map pack. See the results here: http://badcompany.ea.com/castyourvote/

The upcoming release isn’t the only thing happening on the Battlefield: Bad Company side of things here at DICE. We have been paying attention to the feedback on the forums, and are working on some fixes and additions to the game. These changes will happen at the same time the new maps are available.

Priority fixes
Server Lag –Our #1 priority. The game servers were upgraded last week to improve performance.
Dog Tag Lag – The next update will include a fix for this issue
PS3 VOiP – We are still looking into this issue. Sony’s 2.42 Update should have addressed the majority of issues. Please let us know if you are still experiencing muted sound.

Additions enhancing the game
PS3 Trophy support - Yes you read correctly, PS3 Trophy support will be coming to Bad Company

Game Tweaks –
Removed one hit kills for knife against Friendlies
Bullets and knives go through bushes
After sprinting, you will be able to fire your weapon quicker
Helicopter can take damage from multiple trees
Additional minor tweaks to improve gameplay

Unlocking 3 weapons for all
And last, but not least we are excited to share that very soon we will make the Pre-order weapon, Newsletter sign-up weapon and Demo weapon available to everyone playing Battlefield: Bad Company for free.

The mic/lag fixes sounds pretty promising. Hopefully they get those fixed.

The trophies. It sounds like there is a chance for me to get my first trophies...
