Holy crapola

So i wanted a little change from my recent gaming which has been BF: PR and BF: POE. Well let me try firing up my COD4. Cool eye candy YAYYY , game play ? NAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

I jumped on the wagon and been playing COD4 for like 2 years straight (got when first came out). Mind you i wasn't playing BF at all during this time period. Well after i got everything there was to do in COD4 the game started to get a little boring. Even mutli player.

I go back to BF , WOW. Been playing BF for a few months and just for $hits and giggles i said let me give COD4 a try again. Needless to say that BF2 has destroyed my COD4 experience , lol

I signed off within 20 mins and don't think ill ever fire it up again. All COD4 is a run and gun game with eye candy. Oh, and LOTS more nada whoring.

COD4 is extremely boring and repetitive after like 50 hours, small maps fast rounds, and little annoying kids, whining. The game hasn't been out 2 years yet, not even one whole year...

I can't play COD4 for more than 30 minutes at a time. I get really saturated...

I perform well, but I feel like it requires too much of me. BF2 is more of a leisurely ride across the country. ;D

CoD4 and BF2 are totally different games.. There is no tactic to CoD4, It's about going out and just having fun running and gunning.. Bf is more about tactic and thinking about what you're doing.. Mainly due to map size.

Yea our clan went on a major COD4 kick, now i'm trying to convince everyone to swing back to BF2, Its working so far. But we have 3 cod4 servers. A private 1 and then a euro based and US based custom server. The custom server is the answer to the boring small maps in cod4. At least for us it is.

Yeah same for me i dont know why it gets boring because CS/CSS is the same in some kind of way and it never gets bored.

The games are completely different and and I love both BF and CoD...

If you get stuck in TDM in CoD4 it won't be fun though. 90% of the fun in CoD4 is playing competively - not necessarily in leauges but find a good S&D PAM4/promod pub server and you'll have a wonderful time.

For the average pubber BF might be more fun though.

Try taking a break for an extended time like 2 months to a year or 2.....something like that. In within that time do something completely different like sports or just surfing the net - something that doesn't require much hand + left brain + eye coordination.

WHOAH!

I played BF2 yesterday, I had to quit every so often - I couldn't do it. Haven't played since June. Close combat happened way too fast, and I didn't know what to do. I went to grab my knife, to knife everyone like I used to and that didn't work out at all. I got shot every time.

It's amazing what that kind of change can do. I prefer it though.

I find COD 4 is stagnation city after 30 min. If that. Maybe 20 min. 10 min if I play with people I don't know, 30 if I play with people I do know.

While BF2 is indeed a great game, nothing can compare to competing in CoD4

Even though I'm a huge fan of CoD4, BF2 stomps it.. The graphics may not be as good but the content in the game is way out past CoD4..

Though like I said earlier they are two very different games.. Both legendary though

I don't miss those days dude. They were great but they're gone now. I remember them all and had a blast doing it. Even the stuff with Flyin_Hawaiin.

If Bf2 guns worked like COD4 ala-no-stupid-cone-of-fire Bf2 would be awesome.

Any one else notice how easy it is to snipe in BF2 compared to COD4? I actually held down my shift key when I switched back for a second

COD4 Is fun when you play HQ and it was fun before they ruined zombie mod with crap maps and crap aditions. Stock maps and early zombie mod ruled.

You know what really did me in was switching back and forth between BF2 and TF2.......


Things like selecting your next class, and pressing enter selects your next class for you when you die in Bf2. In TF2 - it suicides you immediately and respawns you in that class.
