Why aren't tanks in BF2 built from the same material as the dumpters? Go try and shell a dumpster from close range. 10 -20 shells?: Not a scratch!
OK, Dice had to come up with some extra tough teflon material for the dumpsters, to prevent frag happy noobs messing up the whole place on their metal shredding sprees. Nothing more depressing than screwing up your dream kill because you stumbled prone into an used diaper. But that there was a huge communication breakdown between the tank design department and other design departments at Dice's is more than obvious. Not convinced? Go check the aicraft repair containers after those mind numbing waves of base rape artying. Still in mint condition. Yet, they sent us out in cardboard armored vehicles that can get dammaged considerably by bumping into a sandbag or two. Tsk, tsk... :shakehead:
