Statement on CoH expansions

I saw this quote somewhere and felt I had to share it with you guys:

"Here is my theory on why Russians and Japanese aren't in any new expansions yet:

When you press the retreat button for Japanese, they stab themselves with a sword, or explode.

When you press the retreat button for Russians, they still retreat, but they're shot when they are back at base."

ROFL. I really hope that russians and japanese get added eventually. This coming "rumoured" expansion probably is just the downloadable content on disk

And for the french the only ability for their units is retreat, they only move forward with a de Gaulle in their area. :p

About the french there's not point including regular soldiers as they were fighting with american/british weapons. And the french resistance was 95% sabotage and ambushing, and when I see how annoying the booby trap of the Panzer elite is, I can't even think about a faction specialized in that :shakehead:

i'm wanting some italians........but i guess you can make the same comments about surrendering/retreating as the french.......maybe i just play too much hoi..

oh and glad to be back...i haven't been playing for a while but they have a new comp at my local lan and i thought i would get back into the swing of things........and the site has been nlocked at work, so i probably won't be on here too much.

What is there to say about the Italians? All I remember about the Italians failing is when Mussolini wanted to invade Greece, Hitler said "no, your army is too weak and I can't afford to send troops to help you." Mussolini didn't listen and launched his greek invasion anyways, the Italians failed and Hitler had to send troops to help them out, just like he said he would. Thats embarrassing...

How about the italian invasion of vichy France through the alps, really poor.

outnumbered 10 to 1 by the italians, the French stopped their assault 5 miles away from the frontier :/

I read somewhere there's at least two more updates in the playtest before going retail, so you'll have to wait

So far the balance playtest is amazing, so it'll be worth the wait. :)
