Well as many of you know i have stopped playing 2142 unless a competitive match comes up......So Basically just the Nations Cup, which im still waiting for the knockout stages to be arranged pfff.......But nevertheless i decided to make a video as a sort of tribute to 2142 itself, i had never actually made a video in which i use the assault rifle as well lol.......Now in all fairness im not as good on this vid as i should be but meh aint played it in months lol :)

Im not expecting anyone to watch it all, and to be honest it's no big deal it wasn't really made for public, but i may as well post it lol :)

yeah i watched about 15 minutes figured i could learn some quirk you have. one thing i noticed was that sometimes youd lower your rifle to the crotch area when the deviation increased. ALso it seems like since i havent been using rockets at all for about a week it makes you better with grenades you think more about where to throw them.

Yea well im not to sure about moving my gun down, it probably happens but it's not really something i think about, prob just comes naturally to me now.....

But you are spot on about the nades, if you stop using rockets you will have a rapid increase of awareness and skill with nades, i love using right-click grenades to drop them over walls or on catwalks above etc

ps: I do actually go off Camp G later on, theres some Cerbere and a little bit of Shingle lol :P

yeah you were using the bianchi a little bit on cerbere. support rifles are a royal pain to use it is so nice to use an assault rifle and be able to move around however you like

Yeah good video. Nice skills. You seem to have a similar playstyle to Field. Some good tips there for the next time I install the game.

Too long xD As a general rule, I don't watch a video that's more than 6-8 minutes long. I liked what I saw though (first 3 minutes, then I looked at the progress bar and...)

Haha i know i did give some warning :) But i just thought id make an epic lol, i can look back when i own in BF3 and think yea i owned in BF2142 as well haha........

....Hmmm maybe i should make a BF2 vid lol :)

i think alot of other games the shooting mechanics are easier to get good with like in CoD4 for instance so being a good in this game you will most definitely be good in other games.

Haha yea well i know crouching improves your aim but there is no need to abuse it lol :P

Yea i love my nades......So does German_Fighter lol, says the only reason i can kill him....sure :)

My graphics are all low, i have a "Nvidia 8800GTX 712mb" but the game is clearer on low settings, so i use that :)

Found this awhile ago and watched it, yes the whole thing. Was great, its hard to watch sorta. I was kicking myself 15 minutes in. But its good, shows a lot of kills and serves as a great example.

I noticed his crosshair looks like it changes from red to black when he aims with a grenade.
Btw, what resolution do you run 2142 on? 800x600?

yeah he plays with everything pounded all the way down i dont really get it personally if you play it with 800x600 but then have other settings maxed out the game not only looks better but with things like geometry being high you can see objects a little earlier too. i noticed this when flying around in a gunship it was easier to avoid 'pop up' type objects because they in fact popped up earlier
