    Armoured Gear Special Release

I am proud to present a special release for you Machinima fans out there, this scene does not appear in the Final cut of the production Armoured Gear, only segments of it do, you can get a breif idea of what you can expect in the future.

This scene is for promotional purposes only and does not reflect the final product.

    Feng In Flames: Special Scene.

Looks good so far, but a few points:

    1) It may just be the quality, but the lighting on the characters is rather poor. They blend in with the environment a tad too much and I have to strain my eyes to see them properly.
    2) While I like the scenery shots, you should have a few more closeups of the characters, most of the shots with a character were rather distant.
    3) My biggest grief was around 3:25 (and other spots, that's just an example) the music was fast-paced, but the scenes were moving along slowly and not much was happening.

Those were the main things I noticed, but other than that it looks rather good.

      Nice to hear dude.

Um yeh, youtube has totally messed up the quality, in the HD version i have you can see the characters in detail, i'll work on getting that up for download, thanks for the heads up

Unfortunately with a scene like this where its mostly sneaking around and popping off a few guards you hit the barrier with what you can really do, thats why i chose to leave this scene out as its one of those slow paced people get bored scenes.

In fairness when the story comes into play the scene looks different, but like i said, only snippets of that scene are used in the main production.

Thank ya very gladly though kodak, i need the feedback :salute:

metal gear solid 4 is too epic to be placed with BF2, other than that good video :)

very nice video, some bits where done very, very well I must say!

          Some feedback from me.

Main thing to try and avoid is your "actors" strafing left to right, it looks odd on film, didn't see much of it but there was little bits here and there, try and only strafe with sights up so you do a slow strafe :)

Also try and avoid your actors going too close to objects, epically in prone positions and sticking the guns or feet/body though them, I did see a few shots where the rifle went though a fence etc cos the player was too close to the fence and looked right towards it.

Also if you want to make your film a little more realistic, your sniper should be working with a spotter, if you want to do it really well I would also advice your spotted to have some kind of binoculars, if you ask PR I'm sure we would be willing to donate our rather low quality ones, also in the BF2 files there is a SOFLAM model that is basically a laser designator but also is used as binoculars. POE2 has some nice bioncs too, may be worth asking them thou I know if you ask we will allow you to use some small stuff like that, large stuff is a little more debatable but we will normally say yes, providing asked first :)

Wouldn't be too hard to setup your own mod and just include a few little extra weapons like that. would be also nice for that engy in the tower to have some bionocs in this hands and be just observing the area with them, then putting them down (unscope) and just look around here and there, much better than having a shotgun at the ready

I really did like your build up to the action, the sniper taking his time for the right shot etc, and really loved the fact that you got your sniper to wait a little after the target was confirmed dead, then he worked the bolt

          Keep it up!
