Base plate is the command centre and operations control room.

They are the place that organise, control and co-ordinate troops.

Chinook? Those are all CH-46 Sea Knights.

The Sea Knight has the 2 large horizontal rotors as well. Check out some Google Image searches...the two choppers look pretty similar.

They look pretty alike if you see them separately, but the Chinook is more than twice the length of the Sea Knight.
