Late 2008 early 2009, they already said that. And as far as I know there are no server so im not sure about that ad, it is all match making.

Better that then them rushing out a 1/2 completed game that kills your interest in it.

Im actually quite impressed at how EA have gone about the release of this. Instead of the usual release and its half done but out early technique they seem to be spending a lot of time on this one.

I think Dice should hold beta key contests like 1 or 2 times a week, instead of one every month it seems like. Shouldn't they be building hype about the game,not people getting pissed of at the game

Beta's (at least the one's we get access to) these days are more extended demos than anything else and ways to increase hype over the interwebs.

No game plays better than a game that's a real exclusive.

that is the important concept EA have grasped with this game. instead of rushing (like some previous games) they are, like you said spending a lot of time, which is important for a competitive game field like FPS especially with some tough competition coming out like COD5 and to my knowledge Fallout

That's only because there’s no cash cow waiting for them when they release it so why rush.

I see less of a concern on their part for the end users enjoyment of the game than I do incompetence, because trust me if this wasn’t a free game there is no way they would delay the release this long, and if what you say is true it's a damn shame they don't put this much effort in to the games they sell us....
