Can't Play BF2142 - Cannot Verify Ownership

Hello guys,

I seem to have a problem getting BF2142 to run on my new PC, basically I installed EADM and then copied the installation files to the cache folder which I had backed up so that I would not have to download the game again and then installed BF2142 and BF2142:NS through EADM, I also patched them both to 1.5. However when I try to launch either game, after a few seconds I get a "Cannot Verify Ownership" error message asking me to log in to my account when I am clearly logged in and attempting to launch the game from inside EADM.

If any of you have any idea as to how this may be fixed please tell, I am really interested in play BF2142 again on my new PC.

should of just got 2142 on dvd

Another 'fix' is to use tweakvista and set internet connection to conservative, works for some not for others.

I'm on Windows XP.
