How many people here use a custom config to improve bullet reg or fps?

I've changed my ingame FOV...so yes, it's a custom config. But no other changes other than that :)

Yeah, I use my own custom one.

I've actually yet to meet somebody (meaning, a friend) that doesn't use a modified config.

**I've got to search through my youtube videos, as I don't have my config anymore, but somebody showed me 3 things to change in your config to improve hitreg - most noticeably in the sniper rifle, and it worked rather well.

Some servers that don`t allow decals 0 or custom fov rage me.

Yeah, Ive customized most my games so that I get better FPS or reduced lag or latency improvements.

I dont think I customized anything for better hit registration. Are there any examples of that or would latency improvements count toward that?

stock 250 fps res: 1680x1050. what do I need to mess with configs for? :)

I give myself better FOV, then make my indicators smaller for the bombs and whatnot.

Yeah, same.

Decals 0 was the best change I ever discovered - helped me see so much better and increased my FPS drastically.

Yeah, like I will accept the lag because thats what its doing by default.

Same as when I accept BSODs because thats Windows for you.

no pieman u play to let oppo rage quite
i use costum one i tweaked every thing
fov,maxpak,com_maxfps,cg_drawfps,all unussfull stuff of to inprove the game, blood = off
hit's = off and so on, u don't need that it's just give's u fps drop's.
best fps is 125 or 250 (cauze it has to do something with the game's engine, 125 or 250, else u will slow down ur game if u turn it higher of lower.)

Removes decals from maps - try it. For example, all the clutter on the ground in vacant, as well as the posters/other rubbish are removed. Improves FPS and helps you see better.
