Good movie, some very good effects (one about 7:30 which I thought was genius) - a little long imo and youtube has once again crapped all over it but the substance was there, I enjoyed it :)

I liked it, possibly the only good walker movie. The skulls were a great effect, there were also some other good ones. The music also fit quite well.

The skulls were win, makes it all that more fun to watch and makes obvious what you kill and how many.

I wonder if the people on that server ever heard of motion mines though, they didn't even bother, even if you had decoy or diffuser it would have ****ed you over plenty. Stupid engineers.

Also, what's with tanks thinking its a good idea to be up close and personal with a walker? If a walker targets you get the **** outta there you stupid ****s!

Yeah, I didn't think there was enough feedback all alone - I needed some sort of way to say "Look! I got him!" :)

I ran into them a few times off-air but I usually had enough time and space to defuse the ones closest to me and walk around the rest. I did get killed by a massive EMP-pilum multi-whammy on Sidi somewhere around the power generator however.

Two things genuinely surprised me. I engaged the last of a 3-tank column on Minsk and the first two tanks never responded. Then I ran into this beacon in the middle of nowhere with one of these soldiers actually trying to PK-rocket me down. I still have no clue as to what those guys were doing out there.

That's a good walker secret: keep tanks in the corner of your eye; not upfront. This way, you don't trigger the alarm and don't see you coming until it's too late. Most of my walker VS tank battles happened because I had snuck up on them.
