Yeah this is comparing sales not power.. A home-built gaming pc will never be equaled by a laptop.. They are soo popular now because they are affordable.. I remember about 4 years ago paying $3000 for a sony vaio with 512mb ram >_< and then i bought a Compaq for another $3000 and it was pretty much the same about 3 years ago. Now you can get an awesome laptop for around $900-$1500 so people are buying them. It's the same with video recorders, i remember them being like $3000-$4000 when they first came out lol

^agree. Although I didn't buy anything like that... My dad stole my laptop from work :x which ran cod2 35 fps lowest graphics, then I bought a new PC for £400 which is kick ***:)

^ yup, i think that too, cause the price of a good mid range laptop will be around 1400 to 1600 USD, i got mines for 1400 from a custom gaming firm, mind you i only use it at uni. The title of the article just got on my nerves though.

Laptops aren't as powerful as desktops. That's for sure.

However, laptops are significantly cheaper than they used to be, and a good laptop can be had for much less than $2000 now a days. A good laptop can perform just as well as a decent desktop.

I think the average user is also in it for the convenience and mobility.

PC = Laptop

PC is both desktop and Laptops.

My laptop is just as powerful as any desktop. Check "My System" To the right if you dont believe me. Its my main Gaming Computer as its portable and has WIFI and is easy to carry to E3/Lans/Events.

Are you being sarcastic? I saw your system, but thats a laptop with low end specs, please tell me your joking bout that matching up to high-end rigs, even low end for that matter.
