Re: Comparing BF2 VS BF:BC PS3 gameplay ...
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with the content of the game, just that there isn't enough of it. Aside from the story mode, I had already done everything of interest within the first week. I remember in SA: I would grab a bike from my garage, jump it across the river, drive a few miles while evading cops, jump off a cliff into the airport, steal a helicopter, fly it to the other side of the world, find some mini-gun ammo, then sneak all the way back to a safe-house and save. Now in GTA4 when I bypass the roadblocks, there are no choppers to steal unless I've completed missions. There are only a few weapons to be found, and all of them are available in stores. There is no parachute...! Really, the game just doesn't suit my style of play. In every game I play, I like to find unconventional ways of doing things, just like in BF2. I did however like the driving physics (mostly) and the ability to shoot from the driver's seat. GTA4 is a fun game, but it is not the next GTA.
BTW, try jumping a motorcycle off of a very high building -almost as good as a parachute.
Also note: The max height is lower than the top of some buildings, and if you crash a bike and it doesn't fall down, you still have to pick it up before you get back on.
Thanks for reading.
