Stat Padders

I know this has been hashed over a million times but I'm lazy, where do I go to report a couple of padders? I have screen shots of two guys who ended up with like 2-3 kills and 2-3 deaths and 100+ team work points. Is it EA?

You really shouldn't. EA most likely won't act on it and it doesn't effect your gameplay. You could spend the time better.

If their scores are outrageous it should be picked up on automatically. I think Gamespy must have a filter system that finds over the top scores and reports them.

I feel your pain but the only real course of action is to leave the server.

Sad to say I found a wall hacker on Shingle today. So far it's the only time so lets hope this doesn't become widespread!

Click on the "Contact Us" on the left hand side. You'll need to register or log in. Go down through the options and in Catgory choose "Rules/Policies" and then "Player Complaint" for the sub category. Give them whatever information you have. Sometimes they do something and sometimes they don't. It isn't always a waste of time.

I dunno what all the fuss is about .... everyone who has ever gone for a medal or badge has, by definition, padded.

If you are not cooperating with people on the other team (eg. "Stand still and don't shoot back while I kill you.") and you are not utilizing map exploits to gain your points, you are not, by the EA RoC, padding.

They normally reset people IF you are persistant enough. The first thing you are going to get is a BS auto-response that says "Thank you for sending this to us bla bla bla You didn't provide enough information bla bla bla please provide us with the following: bla bla bla Have a nice day bla bla bla.

People care to much about this .... is long as two "padders" haven't kidnapped someone as a dummy, then what is all the fuss about. Unless people are really that bothered about some artificial ranking system that has no bearing in the real world then it really shouldn't matter .... especially if the culprits are on one of those padding servers .. if you don't want to do it then don't get involved and certainly don't get your knickers all in a twist about it. If I go in a server and find some people over in a far corner padding then I'll go and kill them ... 3 free kills... but to try and get them reset ..... nah! ...get over it.

I agree. Just kill them and move on. If they are ruining your game somehow, then try a kick vote. If that doesn't work then go play on a different server where you will have more fun.

The only time I've heard of stat padders really ruining someone's game is when they gangbang you by killing you then fibbing then killing then fibbing and on and on. I've seen a couple people ***** that they couldn't get out of it, except by leaving the game. Apparently suiciding works also?

But otherwise, I'd just move along to a server that has members that play regularly and is admin'd decently. The big 64 player servers seem to have more problems, and the FF=OFF are definitely more problematic.
