i often kicked for modified content...

Hello guys

I get kicked right after loading map completes, with reason that i have modified content.... My bf2 is fresh install with patch 1.41, PB is updated via pbsetup.
The only modified contect i have is localization files (ringmasters)... could it be the reason?

If it doesn't happen all the time, you'll probably notice that it's always on the same maps. That happens because your patching process didn't work completely, even if no errors were reported. You must reapply the patch. Search the forum and you'll see some post mentioning how to do so...

when i find server and join it is ok... but when the server change map i get kicked 100%.

I will reaply patch and try again...

I got kicked for the same thing last nite. I had just finished a map and was loading Strike at Karkand on a Gamearena server, and I got the modified content message.

I will try the patch again and see what happens.

Apply and reapply the patch all you want.....will make no difference.

When BF2 was released, this was never a problem anyone had. But now that everyones hardware has moved way beyond BF2 often people will load the level up too fast......hence 'modified content'.......at least that is what is commonly agreed upon on the clan server I play on.
