  • Need help with a problem

    Hi guys

I got a problem.. Im playing COD4 in Windows Vista..
Im looking for my demos that I have recorded, but cant find them.

When I launch COD4 player i find them, but when I then open my main folder in my c: directory, I cant find them.

Someone are talking about a compability-key ahead of the files in the main-directory, but I dont have that key... Can anyone help me plz?

    I got 32bit Windows Vista..

    Peace out
    Roffegutten

Never mind... Figured out the problem..

You need to look for the compability-key BEFORE you open the "MAIN" folder!!

    Sorry

wooh, good thing you found 'em! I was just about to search through these forums for the location of where the demos folder 'might be' - "damn Vista" hehe

Just as a reference, where were they? Just paste the command line... like mine are all located:

    For Stock Demos:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\main\demos"
    For Demos from Mods:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\Mods\MODNAME\demos"

That's on Windows Vista 64bit (most players should find there demos in a similar place, different 'program files' name though)

However others have to go into AppData or something?
    "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Activision\"

    Something like that?
