how to get battlefield 2 expansion & booster packs working

this is what i did to get my expantion packs working with bf2:

1.) install bf2
2.) install sf (sf will patch bf2 to 1.1).
3.) install full 1.3 patch (1.4 will not load).
4.) install euro forces & armored fury
5.) install patch 1.41

update your punkbuster and you should be fine.

Where do it say what version of the game i'm running?.

When I play BF2:SF up in the top right corner in the main menu of the game it says 1.1.????.???. Is this the game version? I tried everything you posted and just want to know if it worked properly.

I bought the game and the expansions at a store so they are all the cd/dvd versions, not downloaded.

1.41 is version 1.1.2965-797.0

Okay thanks, that's what I have..............and I hate to beat a dead horse but i'm still not able to play Highway Tampa and a few other maps it would seem. God I love the BF series and their infinite number of glitches! Perhaps i'll just go back to playing the original Doom! :laugh:

Have you downloaded the Highway Tampa file then? It's not included in the full 1.41 patch.

I'm almost sure you have, just checking.

Nope, didn't download the file. I figured it would be included in one of the updates. I travelled back in time from the year 2142 where Highway Tampa was thriving with combat, hovering tanks and my own Claymores that don't try to kill me!

i managed to get all of mine working while only patching once
