Besides Gmod what are some Popular/Populated mods for HL2?

I do not want any single player mods tho.

I have tried the new insurgency and did not care much for it,but thank you any way,any other ideas?

I ask cause I do not feel like downloading dead mods.

There are some interesting mods.
Age of Chivalry is very good last time i played this(about 2 months ago) there were about 2 or 3 full 32man servers.

Smod:tactical is a good mod, although doing the Half life 2 story with smod is quite difficult sometimes.
