Punkbuster 81159 error - need original 1.41 BF2.exe please!

Hi guys,

I foolishly tried to use a ***** crack to get around my poor dvd-changing abilities. Of course, PB has detected this and now wont let me play on servers.

Is there any way I can download the original 1.41 exe? This was the only file I tried replacing.

Of course, I could reinstall the game and redownload the 500mb 1.41 patch... or just download the 5mb exe someone is kind enough to share or link to and be off playing PR is minutes not hours!

I have an original copy of the game. I can even take of photo of myself with it if you're desperate!

Download the BF2 exe, whether it is legit or a crack is against EA's and TGN's rules. You should reinstall the game.

I've been playing BF2 since the day it came out and my CD works just fine. What's the big deal about not having your CD (or DVD) in the drive?

I get mine scratched taking it in and out. Plus, images are simply easier. They are easy to work and just save me time :)

There isn't a downside to using images.

My disk is scratched - ironic considering it was caused by putting it in and out of the DVD drive and not storing it properly. Is there any way to just extract the BF2.exe from the CD? I would suggest emailing the file but that would clearly be against the rules, and no one should contact me over PM.
