    Screw PB, yet again

PB is great at keeping legit players from playing. The illusion of security has prevented me from playing this time because I am in a hotel. I can't route my IP or configure NAT. So the PB process is losing key packets every time I join a server. Now, tonight alone I have joined three servers and I've been kicked from every one for the same thing. PB is gay. But in one of those servers, everyone there was chatting about an aimbotter who was actually hacking. I know this because he sniped me from the hotel on Oman the second I spawned on the carrier. Sure, it's possible. But he was using the SVD and killed three people in three seconds. So PB is kicking me after about ten seconds because I don't have a routable IP, but allowing actual cheaters to play the entire round.
This kind of stupid sheeple **** is why people can still get weapons and explosives on aircraft, but American Soldiers get stuck in airport security for two hours while we're searched.
    The ILLUSION of safety/security.

It's not really PB's fault, 90% of people do have routers with such features and they work fine.

If you post your router model, we can figure something out.

I'm in a hotel, I don't have admin access to the switch/router. So it while it isn't possible for me to play, actual cheaters (I refuse to call script kiddies and punks who paid for hacks "hackers") get to play, I can't. Hence the frustration.

So I tried to join a few unranked servers. All I got there was people who signed on as commander and hit the PGDN key for an entire round, knowing that sheeple won't bother voting yes to mutiny.

More and more, I hate this damnable game. Or at least the people who play it.

EDIT: I have a router at home, and know how to configure the firewall and such to enable port triggering so I can play just fine there. I'm not technologically retarded, just in a screwed position for two weeks while I'm at AT. And I was really looking forward to being able to vent a little while I'm here in Kansas...

Well, most cheaters get banned but you can't stop all of them. Plus, it sounds as if the port punkbuster uses is blocked by the hotel. Thus, if you were able to play, it means PB wouldn't be doing its job and there would be even more cheaters.

It's kicking you for ignoring queries and not properly responding, thus, its doing its job :)

        So, PB is running fine

Most hotels have 300kbps connections (throttled) anyways so good luck. You could probably get a better connection with a cell phone company's broadband option(s).... eh probably not in Kansas though.
