whats this crap about 64 bit vista not running this game?

someone i think it was zinz said that bf2142 would not run on vista x64.

does anyone here have vista x64? trooperjac did i think. is there anything i need to worry about?

im trying to figure this stuff out before i get my parts i dont want to goof around too much

It runs fine. So does BF2

I have Vista Business 64bit.

field boy, i run vista ultimate 64 using that same 4gb g.skill setup that you're looking at. yes it works! i know several others who use ultimate 64 as well. maybe some have had probs, but i wouldn't associate that with the theory of it not working at all.

64 ultimate here ... no worries at all as it relates to 2142 ... But , interaction with CC is not near as smooth as when I was in xp .

You get some message on installation which says it hasn't been tested on, or doesn't support this operating sysytem, but it works fine.

I run Home Premium 64 with 4GB G.Skill RAM and finally have no problem with it after tweaking and familiarizing it for a few weeks. You need 4GB and upgrade to SP1 before running the game.

UT2004 was the last UT game as far as im concerned. they got rid of the dodge jump wtf is thier problem

I Guess I am like the small Majority that is having problems lol...

My Issue is When I go searching for a server I cant see any at all and I cant to one through a IP.. Yes I do have the most current patch lol.. My BF2 problem is similar, I can see all the servers but when I click on one it just freezes... Any Ideas?

It won't be a Vista issue, probably drivers or BF2 acting up. Don't know a solution though.

Have run both Battlefields perfectly fine on X64 Home Premium
