Say you spot a hacker in a server.... what do you do? I know BF2 you can report them and stuff but IDK what 2 do here.

Take a demo - use my toggle script to easily record demos and stop record:

Also bring up the full console (with shift+tilde key) tilde = ` (button left of 1) and type in:
/pb_plist
Then:
/screenshotJpeg

and submit the demo (which must show the hacker actually 'hacking' so a good 5 minutes worth) and the screenshot to PB (or PBBans or GV)

Though I could be wrong, Duality should know as he's a PBB admin?

Dan is right :)

If the server is streaming to PBBans, you can take a demo using Dan's instructions and then pass it to the server admin to submit it to us for you. If the server is not streaming to us then I am afraid that we cannot accept it. In that case, contact the admin and encourage him/her to stream to us or any other reputable organisation.

I'm not sure how Punksbusted deal with demo submissions, I don't stream there personally. As for GV... well... I just won't go there :p (another story, for another time, perhaps )

My clan will taunt them or block them until they leave. You can always just leave the server as well. We have never had the pleasure of having one on our own server but we sure would love to bust some POS hacker!!!

Play on punkbuster or streaming servers, Hell, I don't even know why people disable punkbuster on their server.. just man up and pay the 50 dollars for a legit key, jesus.. its worth the trouble

People disable it because it gets them "more traffic"... why? Because every banned pillock in the world can play there and do what they want. Query the top COD4 servers on gametracker, etc - and you will find that most have sv_punkbuster = 0.

To them having a server is like popularity contest - not about providing a good environment to your regulars.

Duality any chance you could visit Cains Lair server? It has become a haven for cheats.

Any time of any day you find 25-35 percent using bots. More at peak hours.

type /pb_plist grab their pb guid and submit it to PBBans. Or just play on Punkbuster streaming servers.

**OT** LasermanX, are you in (or were you in) Stealth's clan? JW, as I knew a Fazed clan (used to be SSM).

i like to go into to spectate mode and have a non-flaming conversation with them. Just talk about their aim bot and stuff, sometimes I add em to my xfire if they're humorous. I figure hackers kinda like it when you get pissed at them, and it's no fun for me.
