2142 Ranking question

I'm new to Battlefield and I was wondering: Can you move up ranks, earn medals, pins, unlocks (etc.) by playing in Single Player mode?

Also, I usually play with the Battlefield 2142 SP MiniMod, so idk if that allows you to do earn unlocks and such through sp.

Nope, you have to play online to rank up.

You absolutely have to play over the Internet to rank up.

like they said, NO. but why would you want to play single player? multiplayer is an exponentially better experience. you can play w/ the bots on the hardest setting & it's still AI...not as real as it should be. when you're in a good squad that communicates & works together & you see the other variations of the maps, you'll understand. it is NOT the same game at all. get online :thumbsup:
