HD Aspec ratio

Tried using my HDTV with BF2 @ 1920 x 1080 which works great, but everything is elongated.

My question, is there any way of altering the aspect ratio to squash everything back to normal?

Try 1920 x 1476

its a 1.3 ratio and it seems to work.

Tried the resolution but bf2 would not load. Ended up reducing the resolution to 1680 x1050, thanks for the tip.
