Bf2 Mouse Problems

ive just recently installed BF2 onto my new pc but i am un able to play due to problems with my mouse, the mouse works fine in the main menu, when i join a server though, it gets to the kit selection and the mouse stops working, so i use escape to get back to the main menu, and the mouse works again, yet when i go back to the kit selection it stop working. it also happens in Forgotton hope 2 and Project reality.


any help is welcome and my PC specs are in my profile

If you can get into the options>controls menu, hit the reset to default button.
If you can't get into the menu, make sure you have your email/login name and password and delete the Battlefield 2 folder in Documents. You will need to retrieve your account (through Manage Accounts)and setup everything in game again.
If you don't know your password, you can just delete the controls.con file in Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0001\ but this is a messy way of doing it.
