Been out the game for a while...

I been hook on other games like call of duty but the buzz is slowly fading with that game and i wanted to give BF2 another chance. I am having a hard time trying to see if i have the latests version
I have v1.1.2965-797.0

How bad is that ? Also where can i go to get the updates if need be.

Check the BF2 readme in the start menu for your current version. The latest is 1.41 (although 1.5 is on the way). In terms of the DL site I recommend either using EA or Filefront.

I knew you were going to recommend that. It's capped out at 200 kb/s if you don't pay though :dead: (otherwise I would actually use it).

My brother is downloading at our peak of 780kb/s with a free account... and he's on wireless.

Well the account pop up thing fooled me... but I still get in the upper 900s from Filefront. I'm not a fanboy or anything, I just prefer to use the site that works better for me (if you upped the free rate at TGF, I'd be on it in a heartbeat).
