    There are no tools for 3ds Max 8 to import meshes from BF1942 or BFV.

    There are tools for 3ds Max 7 and earlier versions, but unless it is your own content. Then you are not legally able to import content from BF1942 or BFV into BF2. EA has been very explicit on this and has wished that those of us who mod BF2 uphold that request to not pull stuff out of earlier versions of the Battlefied Franchise games.

    In addition, while possible, it is not recommended to import stuff from 42 or BFV into BF2 as the requirements for the game engines is different. Stuff from the earlier games just will not look right and will need some modification to work in BF2.
