You have named no actual parts. One 256mb card may be awful another may be brilliant. You need to specify each individual part.

well if I was you I would not get that computer if you want the medium (the best would like 3000 dollar if your lucky)well I would go
• OS: Windows XP, Windows Vista
• CPU: 2.5 GHz or higher (dual core or quad core)
• RAM: 4 gb
• Graphics: 256 MB video RAM, DirectX 10-compatible (better to get 512 if you high graphics or even higher (theres 1gb cards now but there like 300 hundred dollars each)
• Sound: DirectX 10 compatible
• Hard Drive: 50 gb or high
• Disc Drive: DVD
• Input: Keyboard and Mouse
• Internet play: Cable/DSL or better
• DirectX 10
(well I pick up my quad core up for around $1400 with windows vista, DVD player/burner, 512 graphics (getting that upgraded soon) 4 gb Ram 2.6GHz of power and 500gb hard drive.)

for the medium specs i would say that run you about 1grand or less it all depended if your doing from computer builders or home built and if there are rebates or sales going on but for high area that should run you around like 1.4 grand as again it all depends on the sales, manufacturer, hard drive space wanted and other features and the os,

I would recommend going to hp or dell if it isn't going to be a serious gaming pc that will be upgraded a lot, I would recommend if you are gonna be going from computer builders for right now to hp as nvidia released the new 9 series cards not even made public yet to hp and for like 300$ more to the base d5000atx series which would run about 1.3grand if your not gonna upgrade anything else besides get the 9800gt.

Not for any serious gaming really... I agree with Nex about the price range on building your own computer. Go for the geForce 9 series GPUs, and get more ram. (2gb xp, 3 - 4 for vista) I built mine computer for around $1400 a year ago, and Ive upgraded since then, but if I were to build my computer over from scratch now, it would cost around 1 grand. (Quad core, geforce 8800gt, 800 gb hdd, etc)
