Halo 3 came out almost a year ago - Sept 25, 2007 - for consoles. Maybe he means that he's waiting (hoping) for a PC version to be released. AFAIK, it has not been announced if a PC version is in the works.

Shogun: Total War - Return to Japan :yay:

Dont think it will ever happen though. It seems the total war folks are just too good to go back to their roots, regardless of how many people request that game all the time.

Other then that game, I got nothing. Nothing sounds good.

don't lose all hope

typically 2 total war games are developed at once, 1 usually onto a new engine etc and as they revisited Medieval theres still a chance for shogun

I hope youre right. I loved Shogun. Liked Medieval, hated Rome, didnt try Medieval 2 because why buy what Med 1 should have been. Empire seems cool, but I will wait for the demo.

I need to try out some of these other games everyone is mentioning. Ive been in FPS land for a long time.

Medieval 2 is worth it, the vanilla can be quite troublesome but the mods as always are superb

I play the Kingdoms grand campaign mod which combines the features in Kingdoms into the regular campaign and its brilliant, i cant play the game any other way
