    Movement speed and scale

    2 quick questions:

1 - What's the speed of running, walking, crouched, etc, in BF2?
2 - Is BF2's Wake Island 1:1 scale with the real Wake Island?

Who do you expect to know that information, other than DICE, and even they might not know, it might just be done so everything feels right, instead of dice trying to get players up to a pre-set speed, and map size.

One thing for sure is i don't know, and i think not many people will know.

Take a squad leader order, look at the range, see how far you can move in a minute?

I think you just answered your own question to number one.

          1. Answered.
          2. No, Wake Island is over 15 kilometers (over it's coastline).

assuming you walk a 15 minute mile, it would take you 45 minutes just to walk the south side of the atoll:

            not to scale.

I can see this being valuable information if you are.......

              1) A terrorist with a tight budget and need cheap map layout
              2) Estimating just how long to set the timer on explosives strapped to one self

I think I know one reason why you're trying to do this - calculate sniper lead. If you are, google Safrguns and look at his tanking tutorials. Calculating = FAIL
