This is my problem:
I try to start BF2 but the error(in my attachment) shows up when i have directx 10 installed.
I am currently running windows xp home edition and have a 8800gt
How/where did you get DirectX 10 for Windows XP? AFAIK the last supported version for XP is 9.0c; DX 10 is Vista-only (although there was a 3rd party project attempting to port it to XP).
