Gmod it's a case of setting it all up then filming it. Get a few mates, dub over video done.

You want face animation then your going to need to learn how to use face poser.

Take "I'm Still Seeing Breen" as an example.

The bits with Gman are done with face poser. Along with redubbing of the original audio (the audio used in facerposer is a bit screwy).

From face posing you can then move onto doing full scene either using existing movement strings (not sure what they are called. You see the combine "hit with bug bait" one used allot) like in "Civil Protection".

Part of Dave's ninja move are the bug bait hit ones.

To GET to faceposer you need to install one of the Source SDK things and it's in there allong with Hammer map editor.

Give that a look. Or just try re-dubbing a game that you recorded a demo of.

OR! Just use a couple Combine skins in gmod and wiggle the mouse when you talk. Like they do in EVERY damn Halo game film .. thingy.

Well, sadly Gmod, you got to pay for now :/ and doing alot of that face poser stuff, requires you to download and install a crap load of programs and takes ALOT of time to do

GMOD 9 is free. Google it.

...But, you have to own TF2 and CSS to be able to use it.

Errmm ... one programme deary. One prog that comes with Steam anyway.

As for time, all the best things tend to take time. Good photoshop, website construction, sex, cheese on toast, melting ice cream.

            All take time.
