Isn't the UMP in this game the G36C? It looks exactly like it.

The G36C is an assualt rifle where as the UMP is a sub machine gun. The XM8 is based on the G36 i think but doesn't feel like it has the same stopping power as the one in BF2. The M16 seems like a better comparison.

There is already an M4 in the game, the M416, and upgraded version supplied by Heckler and Koch.

I agree on the MP5 tho, i just cant get enough of that gun.

And yea, BrokenMachine is right when he said the XM8 is based off the G36, i must say i prefer the XM8 tho. Dont hate me G36C lovers. :p

Its more or less an updated version of the PKM thats in game though... too bad they didn't switch 'em around.

I know, the PKP was just obscure enough to be a possibility in BFBC, i wouldn't mind switching them around.

VSSK is more like Barrett XM500. they bouth have same caliber12.7x99mm)

12.7mm "Vychlop" (Exhaust) silenced sniper rifle is developed for special operations that require silent firing and penetration much superior to that provided by 9mm VSS silenced sniper rifle. Typical targets for VSSK Vychlop are cars, terrorists in heavy body armor or behind covers like car bodies or other thick covers.

I was talking more in overall design and whatnot. But yea, another 50cal. rifle would be sweet.

Not that i have anything against the M95, but i think an NTW 20 would be sweet as hell.

Anyone who played POE2 will know how badass that rifle is :p

Hmm it would be nice to see that rifle ingame, personally I would like to see another of my favourites from POE2 the Benelli M4 say to replace the USAS 12.

Not a massive shotgun user, but the M4 is pretty. Kinda looks the the Remington MCS thats already in the game, but the M4 is prettier.

Can't say im a fan of the auto shottys either.

Slightly off topic i know, but does anyone think that the perspective for the SPAS-12 is really ugly?, the stock almost blocks off half the screen lol.
