OK here goes

About a month and a half ago I had moved and have not had Steam/HL2/TF2 installed and I have all my gaming Info writin down in a note book,UN/PW etc.

I go to Re-install the Orange box about an hour ago(thats how long I have been at it) and My secret answer is wrong? my password can NOT be reset etc etc.

This would happen to be the 2nd steam acct that has been jacked from me,I do not add people I do not know,the guys on my friends lists are people i have knowin for over two years and am on vent with them all the time.

I dont know, I guess I just needed to vent is all,I AM SICK of this **** to no end I frickin work for what I have and some damn punk(s) just come along and take what they want! some times I wish I was that way but I know I just could not live with my self if I didnt earn what I have.(which is not much)

well i know what you mean some1 had stolen my acount aswell back in the days i had 9 games on it . I thing it was because of my poor password witch was back then 666666. But now i have one whit 20 characters :)

Ouch that sucks. Have you tried contacting valve about it. Im sure there are ways to prove its your account. Good luck

Well i have read ALOT of threads where folks have contacted Valve about the same issue and I realy at this point am in no mood to get the run around LONG drawn out B/S from them.

It just sickens me, If you have read my posts in the PS3 thread you know that I am looking in that direction.

Im sure there are problems on consoles and what not but I guess I am ready for a change.

I enjoy gaming,work takes up most of my time and when I can I like to sit down to a few millers and relax and let the days head aches drift away but it realy pisses me off when this stuff goes on.

Well to all those reading this that are in the same spot/or have been that I am in,this Miller in my hand is for you :thumbsup:

I would like to say on my behalf that I did not give out my info or visit any strange sites or fill out any forms or read/respond to any e-mails.

I realy do mean it Oli thanks for posting that up I may look into the matter further im unsure at this point.

I have known many people that have successfully recovered their steam accounts in very short spaces of time

tell steam support, send em the evidence and you will get your account back

as an added bonus they will be able to ip track your acc to the person that stole it and he will get royally owned

I have two steam accounts, and neither have been hacked or stolen.

Yeah I guess for some reason I have had bad luck with steam accounts,but like I said I never give my info out or do stupid ***t that would put my accounts in danger so your guess is as good as mine why this happened.

I've even shared steam accounts, for LANs and the like, and mine has never been stolen.

If my account was jacked I would contact them just for that!

Good luck Falcon, I'd be pissed as hell too if someone did that to me. One time I got a msg from someone pretending to be "steam account services" or whatnot, asking me for my password. I looked at it for a couple seconds, then laughed at the idiot.

I wish I knew how to report those kinds of people....

GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loged into my day old steam support ticket and they already reset all my info!!:shock:

They changed the PW&Secret Question,which is all personalized again.

I realy do owe getting my account back to you guys here at TGN as you could see I was not even going to try and get it back.

I checked the account standing and it still says(In Good Standing)lets hope it stays that way eh!

Once again THANK YOU TGN!!! for the push to get it back.

A day off and my account back!!
