I recently reinstalled bf2, downloaded the 1.41 path from fileshack, I click on the installer, the hour glass thing comes up then nothing, I click again same thing.. The installer just won't start.. any suggestions?
Make sure you have 3gb of free space on your c: drive
Try installing the patch in safe mode.
Otherwise download the patch from somewhere else.
Another reason is that the game didn't install into the registry properly so the patch can't find it's location, you could look in the registry in the Battlefield 2 folder (Edit>Find) and check installDir has the correct path, but it would probably be best to do a Manual Uninstall and re-install.
