I know this is quite a difficult topic to help someone on, but i was wondering if anyone had some tips for example a 1 on 1 knife duel.

Also, many a time i have been knifed because of dolphin diving. How do you time this? e.g. Do you swing as prone, before or after?

Three easy steps to win a one on one duel.



#1. USE YOUR PRIMARY

#2. If you are out of bullets with your primary USE YOUR PISTOL

#3. If you absolutly and I mean absolutly need to attack a guy head on with a knife, I suggest waiting for him to make the first move. If you dodge it (which isnt really hard) hopefully he will put himself in a vulnerable enough position for you to easily drop him.

As for the dolphin move I use it only when guys arnt looking on a normal server, but if you are talking about a knifer server then its all about the timing. Its basically dive then slash. You have to gauge it on how close the enemy is. If you slash too early your dead, and you slash to late well you get the picture. So If you really have to master the knife, practice,practice,practice.

it's all about timing. the key is have the tip of your knife hit your enemy at just the right time. so if you dive then swing or swing then run, you'll get a much further striking distance than if you were just standing still. it is ALL about timing, so lag & jumpiness can just ruin it for you. it may take a little practice, but once you figure it out, you can rack up the dogtags.

or, sniper Vs. knife?
To knife, you must always sprint, ALWAYS. and practice your aim again and again and again.

knife is gay ... never works
i just heckle knifers, get ur blade out and challenge then just whip out the herzog and BOOM +1 point :P

but if you DO go to a knife fight it's all about the diving

ive played knife servers and it does work

the order is prone > swing > crouch (to stand up doing this makes u get up ALOT quicker than pressing jump or prone again) > sprint away

however the "best way" also teh hardest is just sprint knifing , no crouch , no dive just sprint and stab


or then again theres always an aimbot :laugh:

To me this is gay...

Dolphin dive knifing is frowned upon by many, but very effective, because most opponents usually first shoot over your head when you dive at their feet. Best move is jump+crouch while hitting the attack button. Just practise a lot and you eventually will know at what distance to start the jump+crouch move. Also sometimes I ran at my opponent and jump over them whilst turning in the air and hitting the attack button.

This little non-existant rule of "If I have a knife you MUST pull yours out" is for those who can't knife a guy with a Gun.

and it's just non-sense, Rather than risk the chance of losing your identity, Put him down and move on.
