Im Totally new to the forum and BF2...some help is needed please

Hey everyone how are you all?

I've got some questions regarding BF 2 cause I wanna play it even though I need a good computer....my graphics card , memory, sound are so crap plus I don't even have a DVD-Rom lol hahaha. Ok here goes:

1. Please .... I do NOT mean to offend ANYONE, but I'm just wondering, since its so hard to find a BAttlefield 2 forum, is this the most populated, most used Battlefield 2 forum? Just asking cause im curious, nothing else.

2. Is BF2 still popular today, lots of people playing it? Is it as/more popular compared to, say, Counter Strike 1.6, or Diablo 2?

3. Why do you guys think, BF2 is better than CS 1.6 Yes i know that is a very biased question, but I simply only want to know people's opinions. Me you ask? I just like it because It involves a lot of stuff like riding a tank, jets, bombers, etc. not just shooting like CS.

Well Iguess only 3 questions for now. Hope more are coming up.

1. Im not too sure, but this is a popular forum with a lot of members.
2. I don't have a lot of friends playing BF2, but i'm quite sure its more popular than CS 1.6. BF2 Can get a little boring, so I get mods because I like new stuff (thats not in BF2 vanilla)
3. I prefer BF2 to CS 1.6 because: better graphics, better team play (squads), vehicles, larger maps and a variety of different kits.

1. I would say this forum is one of the best. between here and bf2s.com you should be able to find bf2 info on just about anything you want.

2. yes bf2 is still popular, and since you can get it pretty cheap these days, its definitely worth a try. It will never have as many players as CS though.

1. Yeah, this is a pretty popular gaming website, for all games, including BF2, of course.

2. It is still popular, according to www.game-monitor.com it has 10,000+ people playing mid-day. But, it isn't as popular as CS:1.6, not sure about Diablo 2 though.

3. Personally, I think its a lot better then CS:1.6, graphically, game play wise (squads, commander), but I haven't really played CS:1.6 for long enough, but I do think BF2 is better/
