Chat Text Help

I am running CoD4 using Vista and having a problem coz my chat text disappears from the screen very quick with no chance to read it.

When I tested my old XP version of CoD4 it appears on screen for a longer time using the same mod and server.

I wondered if anyone could offer me some help in getting the text to work in my Vista version. Gets a bit tedious going into the console to see what someone said.

Ooops. Solved it. This is how:-

Took a look at the config_mp.cfg and found the setting seta cg_chatTime "12000" for my XP version. When I checked my Vista version it was set at "1200".

So I added the extra 0 and it all works fine now.
