    Some kind of wierd freezing

I don't remember when this started but it wasn't long ago. I've been playing just minding my business when the game just freezes. You can hear the sounds go on, you can hear people as they talk over their mic, not a looping sound, but real time sound, like if the game is still going on but the screen is frozen. I can also move my mouse but the game is just frozen its weird. All I can do is alt-tab and get back in the game to refresh it but thats precious time lost. Is there any way to fix this?

Have you updated graphics drivers recently? If so, roll back or update to beta drivers.

        From massgate:

        • Activate and lower the "Framerate Cap (Power Saving)" option in World In Conflict's Advanced Graphics Options to a value between 15 and 30 FPS.

        • If the above doesn't work - Lower your graphics setting to Medium (or lower) and see if this helps. (If you have a high end card you should be able to play the game on Very High settings, but if you can work around the issue by lowering the settings and report this result to us, it will help us narrow down the cause of the problem).

        • If the game freezes at any time please press Alt + Enter to switched to windowed mode and then switch back again (Alt + Enter) to see if this works.
