Thats true, but you know the saying that goes "If its good, don't change it." ... something like that.

I think there's always room for improvement, somebody saying something like this is either lazy or afraid of doing wrong.

And it's not possible for CoD4 to be the most played... CS 1.6 and CS:S will run on a much worse computer than that. That factor alone takes a lot of players away from CoD4, which requires a premium computer to run it well.

I would get the numbers if I knew where I could get them. :p

And does the absence of acheivments and ranks stop the thousands of league competitive players across the whole world?

If you don't understand how the game works, how your weapon shoots, how every map is played then you won't be good at it. It's the most skill based game out at the moment (Not including the ones I haven't played, but I've played a lot), and it takes tons of practice and time to get good at.

The game is simple and easy to understand, that's the reason for its popularity if you ask me. I don't care much about it, I played it a bit but Counter-Strike all in all never dragged me much.

No way will they add ... acheivements and... gun unlocks to CS. Thats an outrage. The game is perfect as it is.

Relative to itself, maybe.

To other games, CS:S doesn't stand a chance.

I'd be surprised if there would be weapon unlocks. CSS isn't that sorta game.

I'd love achievements though, bring it on two-headshots-with-one-shotgun-shell

CSS is a much more popular game, removes a lot of the risk by using DoD as a guinea pig

i m still waiting for the next cs. I realy dont undertand why it takes so long for a new cs the have made billions whit it.

From what I have heard from many places, After all the new weapons and achievements are done for TF2, There will be a New Beta for CS:S that will also give achievements and new gun unlocks for everyone.

Sounds good to me, what do you guys think?
