Proposed New SP Missions?

Anyone remember awhile back that IW was coming out with a "mod" or... an expansion or, whatever you would like to call it, about the ultra nationalists invading New York City?

It was going to be SP only... I haven't heard anything about it in forever. But I seem to remember IW working on it.

Anyone got any info?

It wasn't IW. It was a proposal by community modders.

All I could recall was looking at a link that had specified IW developers discussing the topic on a forum.

Well, it probably was, but there were probably just a few IW people looking into it.

If it was thought of by IW, I'm not surprised it died. I mean, just look at the storyline... Russians invading New York, playing as Ryan Jackson, the brother of Paul Jackson. Just sounds corny...
