So where is he from?
I always thought he was Italian but after an O.C chat last night some people said he was French?

Actually, it's not confirmed where the spy's from, as he says 'Prego', which I believe is Italian.

His accent is neither Italian nor French, however.

It s hard to play the spy not many ppl are tricked enymore i guess manly because evry one checks if some1 is a spy by just randomly shooting at the team. I hope ther will be some kind of update that help little bit.

French is what I always thought. But I think he's closer to a French-SPANISH-Italian mix.

Here's some Spy Taunts:
"Awwwww...merde." (merde is French for sh!t)
And he also uses Prego and Amigo, which are Italian and Spanish, respectively.

However, his accent is more french than anything else to me..

His accent is officially Franco-Spain - but of course that could also mean he comes from any of the contested colonies in North and South America.

Considering his affinity for Italian, it could also very well be that hes from any of the Mallorca Islands or Corsica Island. Both of which have undergone multiple changes in history between the Spanish, The French and The Italian Factions.
