The day that spy/engineer/sniper updates come out would be just about unbearable otherwise.
Valve should really just wait and realese more than one class update at a time

I don't know, it seems that the Pyro craze has already run its course.
The more updates they have, the longer they can keep the game alive. And as the number of classes with achievements grow, there will still be a lot of players who are still working on the old achievements when a new class get theirs.Comment

I think the problem is, that when they come out everyone's playing them. If they would bring out 2 updates the same time, after a time frame where they could have been released on by time, it wouldn't hurt the game in any way. The updates are coming out extremely fast anyway.Comment

A double update would be nice, but I think it'd give Valve a hard time to "work out the kinks", or something like that.
Eveybody would go for the two classes like they would with one class anyway, and as such the craze would continue on longer.Comment

To be honest I'm just over the moon that were getting regular content updates, Valve seems to be going against the trend these days in updating TF2 so often. Great to see personally.
I think Mooby suggested that they release a few achievements a day, maybe in the run up to release of the new weapons to stop the whoring that we see at the moment, I just can't wait to get my Pyro class back :)Comment

One of the main things I like about TF2 is that there are regular content updates, it keeps things interesting.
Who cares if there are hundreds of pyros running around? It's just more targets for my Sascha!Comment

Honestly, I think the pyro surge was a lot shorter than the medic one, maybe because the achievements seemed easier? (I got 22 in two days and only farmed maybe 8 of them).
It was actually spy heaven for awhile. 8 pyros = a lot of backstabbing.

Re: Valve should really just wait and realese more than one class update at a time
I for one am just thankful of getting regular support that doesnt **** up the game
*cough EA/Dice
It is great to have updates and having 2 at a time make sense, but the smacktards would start whining over the longer wait, the Steam forums would crash from all the ungrateful twats moaning about "Valve Time" and then potentially afterwards valve could have a lot more bugs to deal with in the space of time
i think we have all more or less grown accustomed to update mania, it is a popular game after all, I just take it all in my stride (and kill all the dumb ****ers)Comment

Re: Valve should really just wait and realese more than one class update at a time
While agree the pyro craze has diminished considerably, it's still very prevalent and boarder line obnoxious. I'm in agreement that they should release more than one update, at least two. I'm dreading the spy update, although I think it would be fun, after a while there is going to be a lot of explicatives in chat.Comment

Re: Valve should really just wait and realese more than one class update at a time
I like the one update at a time strategy. Valve can concentrate on that specific class plus it will help the game last even longer. Besides as each on comes out, take the class the beats it. Ex. Spy update? Take pyro. Too many Snipers? go Spy etc.Comment
