Question about sentry s

Hi, How does the sentry s of engineer work? Is it like level 3 is the best one or does evry level has it s streght and weakness. I m asking this because it seam s that level 3 it bit slower duo to that when it shoot s the rokkets it has some kind of reload time but level 2 and 1 are shooting the hole time??

Level 1 sentry is weak and is used more as a temporary deterrent in certain situations as it's the quickest to build. The draw back is that it's easily destroyed as it doesn't do much damage and can't take much damage.

Level 2 is faster and stronger than the level 1 sentry, but takes longer to build and while it deals significant damage, it's still pretty easy to destroy, especially if an uber comes rumbling at it.

Level 3 is your strongest sentry as it deals the most damage and under a good engi can survive an uber. It can take a hit, but unless it is maintained, it'll go down pretty quickly.

While a level two seems the quickest, don't be fooled, always get your sentry's to level three as you get the most bang for your buck.

It seems like this but in fact its because lvl 2 shoots its chain guns, which are much faster than the rockets. However, the lvl 3 also shoots its chain guns on top of its rockets so therefore is much stronger.

They get better at each level BUT also larger and easier targets to hit

you can sometimes hide a level 1 or 2 in places where a level 3 would be visible

the level 1 is also good for dropping when you are on the move or something, its a good little ambush tool because some people dont notice it as much

but level 3 for plowing oh yes
