Imagine the precision and accuracy you MUST have in games like CS, it's one hundred times harder with a controller because you have to kind of guess how much to move the joystick over, and instead with a mouse, you just move it to where you want to.
Console games are specifically designed for use with controllers, so there's no issue of 'accuracy' if everyone's using controllers.
Why because the console came with a controller? if they were designed for controllers only then these items would not be on the market.
FPS should and always will be played with a mouse and keyboard PC or XBOX
Yes because they came with a controller. Games are developed, for consoles, with a controller in mind exactly for the reason that they come with the console.

I do not have a PS3 so i cant really comment on it, that is a total new subject i can sum the PS3 comment '£350 to much'
Once BFBC is released on friday im going to make a few vids with my capture card one with a controller and one with using a mouse and keyboard. to show for me using a controller how hard it is for me to pick up and use well. I just can't get used to it.

Fair enough someone in your situation, but for most people it's just impractical to go out and buy a peripheral that most people don't need.
i like the idea of using M&K for the 360. just at current, the two are set up in different rooms, on different furniture setups so it would be a pain in the *** to re-arange it all, but probably a worth while one nonetheless.

To most people, i don't think it's a matter of need, it's more a matter of choosing to use it to enhance their playing experience. If people are happy with the controller then that's fine.
However, i can see a small group of people at least who would probably use this device as a reason to moan about it being an unfair advantage. which it probably is an advantage, but not an unfair one as it is readily available to anyone, and not just a select few.
They should just add mouse and keyboard support and make everyone's life easier rather than having to buy mouse and keyboard emulators which basically aren't quite as good as a mouse and keyboard but are better than a controller.
That way they would probably sell more copies of Bad Company as you'd get more pc players (with consoles) buying the game as well.
But I doubt that would ever happen.
I actually don't understand why consoles don't do this... they would turn out a much larger profit.

Haha, yea sure, but the Mouse and Keyboard will still be better. Duh.
And console games aren't always specifically designed for consoles. MP play in CoD4 for example is identical to that of the said game on the PC. Just due to the more agile and powerful controls, its played very differently.
I have friends who're quite good at both and they can't discern any clear advantage of one over the other. They're deadly with both simply because they've had lots of practice.
Using non-sanctioned means to give yourself a advantage over any average controller-using player, skill notwithstanding, just seems like cheating to me eitherway.
