No one probably remembers my old thread regarding my Sixaxis crapping out (R2 button going limp, under normal use), seeing as it was 2 months old.
After FedEx attempted to deliver my "New" or "repaired" Sixaxis, 2 times, failed, since I was out on Vacation. I finally was able to sign for the package. I opened it up, to discover loads of packing, and a fairly warm Sixaxis. After pulling out a machete to cut down the fields of tape, bubble wrap, and Popcorn (Sarcasm, FYFI), I finally had in my hands, a used (not from me) Sixaxis. Now, would it have bothered me if it was used? No. What bothers me is the condition it is in. Sony doesn't get a rats tail about it. It reeks of ciggaretes (I'm NOT a smoker), has finger prints, scratch lines, oily blotches on it (previous owner must have had a chips and gaming night). What the hell? The LEAST I would have expected was a quick Sanatized rub down of the buttons, and outer shell. But sony didn't. I now am stuck with a (Useable) Scratched, oily, ciggarete stenched, controller. Thanks Sony.
(I will not use this mocory of a "service" from this point out, if my DS3 or Sixaxis fails, I will do a "swap out" manuever, via Wal-mart. I'm not waiting 2 months for Sony to fiddle around and give me some piece of crap.)
